There might be options defined in a way that you can agree on something else compared to what\u2019s described in the legislation, but for the employee it cannot be with adverse impact compared to the legislation rules.<\/p>\n<p>So, let\u2019s assume in your country it\u2019s allowed to opt for something else \u2013 something that\u2019s better for employees. Obviously you can come up with in addition to what we\u2019re about to discuss, but I just want to introduce you to an option.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>People go off for their annual vacation usually as they see fit and as the work schedule promises. They may stay there for a week, for two or even three weeks. Normally it\u2019s expected that the employer pay the vacation pay before the vacation starts. However, if you think about it, for you (for the accountants) wouldn\u2019t it be better to pay the vacation pay on the same day as the salaries are paid out, that is continue paying the salary essentially, just with the consideration that the vacation pay may include some extra calculations based of some averages and so on. It would mean just one period in month you need to think and account for the salaries and there\u2019s still one payment in bank.<\/p>\n<p>You may come up with something of your own, entirely different to the idea mentioned, or further enhance the suggestion. The idea is to think if there are options for you, your employees and your company.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, the choice of method that\u2019s different from the one set out in legislation needs to be better for the employees. And, of course, agree with employees before hand.
