For changing the orientation of the slide, go under the Design tab and to the Page Setup section. Click on the “Slide Orientation” and switch between Portrait and Landscape.

How to change the orientation of a text in a cell? | Excel 2007
Select the cell or cells and go under Home tab into Alignment section. Notice that there is a button just at the top middle of the section called “Orientation”. Just click on the button and choose from the menu the orientation you wish for the text to be shown in.
