Place your cursor inside a placeholder and go under Home tab into Paragraph section. In case you have applied a direction change, go under the same menu in “Text Direction” and choose “More Options” from the menu. From the appearing new window remove a check in front of “Wrap text in shape”. This will remove the wrap and your text is shown in a straight line.
