How to present lines on two axes? | Excel 2007

Prepare your graph using the line chart. On the chart right click on the data series that you wish to present on another axis on the right and choose “Format Data Series” from the menu. From the appearing new window make sure you’re on “Series Options” and choose the option “Secondary Axis”. Click on “OK”, when you’re done.

How to make the markers on a graph gradient? | Excel 2007

Right click on the data series you wish to change, choose “Format Data Series” and go under “Marker Fill” menu from the left. Choose the option “Gradient Fill” and from the selections that appear below first determine the type of colors you wish to appear on the markers under the “Preset colors” menu. Under “Type” determine whether the lining is linear, radial, rectangular or path. Under “Direction” determine in which way the type previously selected appears. For Linear lining you can also determine the angle under “Angle”. Under “Gradient Stops” area you can determine the colors your gradient setting will use. Click on “Close” if you are satisfied.

How to decrease and increase decimal places? | Excel 2007

Select the cell or cells and go under Home tab into Number section. At the bottom right corner there are two buttons with zeros and blue arrows. To decrease a decimal, click on the button with a right facing blue arrow called “Decrease Decimal”. For increasing press the other button with the left facing blue arrow.

How to have cells automatically formatted if they contain specific text? | Excel 2007

Select the cells you want to be analyzed and go under Home tab into Styles section. Choose the first button from the row called “Conditional Formatting”. From there choose “Highlight Cell Rules” and “Text That Contains …” From the new menu type in the text which the cells containing are formatted and from the right sided drop-down menu select the style you wish to apply. Notice that some only apply to text or background whilst others format both of those. If you are satisfied, click on “OK”.
