Preparing your Annual Report using a template

No doubt you’ve considered using someone else’s already final report as a template for yours or a prepaid template provided over the Internet you either found or bought. As it happens, we’ve also made available a template just for this purpose – that you would have the preparation a lot easier with as many tools as we can think of. But nonetheless I’ve heard people ask and even doubt in the efficiency and sense of using those templates. 

Let me make one thing clear – using templates and guides is never inefficient, in fact it’s quite the opposite. The reason people really doubt and are hesitant to use them is real simple. It’s the regulations and legislations that differ from country to country and as such people are lost in trying to accomplish their first Annual Report but reluctant to ask and use help given just as well. The thing with Annual Report templates is simple, they give you the structure one Annual Report should encompass regardless of the regulation or framework it’s prepared in. There are always the main statements, the accounting principles and notes. In most cases local legislation doesn’t even set out the standard the report should look like so you’re more than welcome to use templates which include the basics and are as user friendly as possible.

I would really like to stress that you’d make use of templates and helpful guidelines given here and there. You can never be wrong with using them and if anything, you may forget something your local legislation requires you to add additionally.
