How to set table columns or rows to fixed width or height? | Word 2007

By default tables have preferred width, which means Word 2007 decides the sizes. But if you want to set fixed width then click with your right mouse button on the table and choose Table Properties. A window will open. In the bottom right corner click on the “Option” button. Uncheck “automaticly resize to fit content”. Now you can define width and height in the properties and it will stay like that.

How to easily replace words in a Word document? | Word 2007

If you need to replace a specific word in your document, press the button “Replace” under Home tab in Editing section. Under “Find what” type the word that needs to be replaced and under “Replace with” obviously the word to be used instead. You can either click on “Replace all” to have all the words replaced at once or click on “Find next” to move to the next word and “Replace” to replace single words.
