Go to the
ribbon under Page Layout tab and Page Setup section. Click on “Line
numbers”. From the appearing menu you can determine if the numbers are
continuous, restart on every page or section or are shown everywhere except for
the current paragraph.
If you want
to move to the next line inside the cell, first make sure you are inside the
cell by double clicking the cell and when your cursor is in the correct spot,
hold down “ALT” and press “ENTER” on your keyboard.
When you have just created continuous line then you can click on the lighting button and undo the line. You can also stop it from doing that again in the future. The button will disappear when you have done some more actions afterwards.
Right click on the data series, choose “Format Data Series” and go under “Marker Options” menu from the left. Under Marker Type select whether you want the markers to be Automatic, None or Built-in. “Automatic” comes with the chart type, “None” obviously means that no markers are used and “Built-in” enables you to select from the down appearing menu the more suitable marker. Under “Size” you can determine the size of the marker as well.
